What is health?

Health is not a jean size, a number on the scale, or a fad diet

Health is well-being in every aspect of life and it’s a lifestyle choice for everyone. Whether you’re moving too little and eating too much, or exercising to exhaustion while relying on sugar and caffeine for energy, it’s time to start paying attention and make “healthy” a way of life.

Real health is about finding what you need to do for you. Taking care of yourself is not only the best way to look and feel amazing, it’s the absolute best health insurance there is.

What is Holistic Nutrition

If you want to be healthy, you have a couple ways to do it. Both Nutrition and Holistic Nutrition focus on individualized diet plans; however, these plans are vastly different

Nutrition

Nutritionists look at food intake and supplements from a clinical perspective to craft specific rules about what you can and can’t eat. Simple rules may seem easy to follow at first…. until the rules break down. Structure and rules do work in ideal situations, but unfortunately for us, life is full of times that are less than ideal.

Holistic Nutrition

Holistic Nutritionists teach you health strategies to apply in any situation. They treat you as a whole person and consider your entire health picture, from what you eat to how long you sit during the day, to what you endure mentally and emotionally.

Holistic Nutrition takes care of weight-gain, mood, fatigue, stress, chronic pain, inflammation and even disease by nourishing your body with whole foods, removing toxins, and implementing long-term habitual change.

Why this works?

Health is the outcome of small choices you make on a daily basis

After a Holistic Nutritionist designs your unique strategy, a Health Coach assists you in your journey. Health Coaches go beyond planning and routine check-ins. They motivate you when you feel unmotivated and exercise with you when you’re struggling to act.

Changing your habits can feel impossible. A good Health Coach guides you through lifestyle changes one step at a time so you never feel overwhelmed. You’ll be surprised by the compounding effect. By implementing better habits slowly, you learn how to build lasting, positive change throughout your lifetime.
